Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment (Endodontics) is a process designed to save the tooth from
serious decay or infection or injury. The sensitive pulp inside your tooth is delicate
and can kill your whole tooth when infected. At KABERA, we save your tooth with a
root canal treatment so that no implant is required. Before the root canal treatment,
our dentists will inspect the tooth completely.
Root Canal Treatment at KABERA
Step 1: In step one, an X-ray is taken to determine how much and what type of
infection there is. Before beginning treatment, local anaesthesia would be given.
Step 2: Next step is Cavity Preparation. A cavity is prepared to eliminate all dental
infections or previous fillings and a correct route is formed to the inner part of the
tooth (pulp).
Step 3: The process is followed by disinfection and pulp canal shaping. Clear out the
infected pulp completely, modify the canals, and clean them. Complete disinfection
has been accomplished.
Step 4: The next step is to thoroughly clean and disinfect the canals, followed by
sealing and then filling with an inert rubber-like material known as Gutta-Percha.
Step 5: Restoration and a crown applying is the last process. Next, the crown portion
of the tooth cavity is filled with a resin. Then, the Cap/Crown cementation is used to
complete the restoration.
